Drones take flight to spot illegal dumping
AAP
Victoria's environmental watchdog has launched a new campaign to spy on people who illegally dump industrial waste.
The Environment Protection Authority announced on Monday it would use drones to capture video evidence of illegal dumping.
It's estimated that more than 350,000 tonnes of construction and demolition waste such as concrete, timber and asbestos is dumped throughout the state every year.
