Driver ploughs through Melb bakery

A woman has escaped injury after accidentally driving her car through the front window of a Melbourne bakery.

Police say the woman hit the accelerator instead of the brake and ploughed into the front of the bakery at Heathmont on Monday morning.

The shop was closed at the time but a man and his daughter narrowly missed being hit by the out-of-control car.
