Dozen witnesses for Vic baby murder case

About a dozen witnesses are expected to give evidence in the trial of a Victorian man accused of the strangling murder of a six-month-old baby boy.

Dwayne Justin Lindsey, 33, appeared via video link before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday, charged with the 2016 murder of Chayse Dearing.

Up to 13 people will give evidence at Lindsey's committal hearing in August, the court was told.
