Dodgy hot water bottles seized in Victoria

If you've bought a dodgy hot water bottle you could end up in more hot water than you planned.

Victorian authorities seized more than 4000 'Hot Water Bag' products from Wens Bros Trading Pty Ltd's Clayton warehouse and Hallam retail store after a complaint from a customer who was burnt when the bag's seam split.

Consumer Affairs Minister Marlene Kairouz on Monday said the bottles failed to meet mandatory safety standards and had been recalled.
