A thief who used a Collingwood scarf to hide his identity has stolen wads of cash from a Melbourne business during a daylight robbery.
Detective Leading Senior Constable Ross Bingley says the man jumped the counter at the Boronia money lender on Friday and made demands for cash.
He then made his way to a safe in the back office and stole money before running off down Boronia Road.

Police are still trying to locate the man and his distinctive disguise.
"It does offend law-abiding Collingwood supporters," Det Sen Const Bingley said.
