Cyclist run over by truck

A cyclist has been run over in a Melbourne street after he was allegedly knocked into the path of a truck.

Police say it's believed a person in a parked car in Brunswick on Friday opened the door, knocking the cyclist onto the road.

The man, who was riding with his partner, died at the scene.

The truck driver and the car's occupant are being questioned by police.
