Cyclist injured in Melbourne hit-and-run

A cyclist has back injuries after a hit-and-run in Melbourne.
The 22-year-old man was riding his bike in Carlton on Thursday evening when he was struck by a black VW sedan and thrown from his bike.
The car, which sped off, will have some damage and is missing a side mirror, police say.

The cyclist was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with minor back injuries.
