Vic Police nab man at KFC drive-through
A Melbourne man who played chicken with a cop car and threw a beer can at police got busted when he stopped at KFC during the pursuit.
Police first tried to pull over the man, who was driving erratically on Princes Hwy in Mulgrave, at about 9:50pm on Monday night.
The driver threw a beer can at officers and tried to speed off, only to be blocked by another police car, which he sideswiped on his way past.
One police officer suffered minor injuries.
Twenty minutes later, police found the man at the drive-through of KFC at Springvale.
When they tried to talk to the man, he again tried to flee, hitting both the restaurant and a parked car, causing some damage to both before finally being arrested.
The 20-year-old Narre Warren man is expected to be charged with "discharging missile" for throwing his beer can, drug possession and a number of traffic offences.
