Comm Games gold medal stolen from home

A Commonwealth Games gold medal won by the Indian's men's table tennis team has been stolen from a Melbourne home during a burglary.
The medal, won during the 2006 games in Melbourne, was taken from a Moonee Ponds home in the city's north-west on January 12 along with other items, including jewellery and electronics.
The medal has little monetary worth but high sentimental value, police say.
