Coles shelves bare as Vic strike continues

Victorian shoppers are reporting empty shelves as Coles feels the effects of strike action at a cold storage warehouse that supplies its supermarkets.

More than 600 Polar Fresh workers are picketing outside the Truganina warehouse, as the union negotiates a pay agreement with the company.

Numerous shoppers have taken to social media to share images of bare shelves in fruit and vegetable areas in Coles stores across the state.
