'Cinderella' car thief leaves shoe behind

A shoe left behind at a Melbourne crime scene could be the key to finding a car thief that police have dubbed "Cinderella".

The woman allegedly stole a Tarago from a driveway in Deer Park as the owner was unloading items from the van at 6.30pm on Saturday.

The owner grabbed the door and suffered minor leg injuries when he was dragged a short distance as she drove away, leaving behind a single black slip-on shoe.
