Chisel-jawed man in heels robs store

A man wearing fish-net stockings, heels and a blonde wig has robbed a Melbourne fast food restaurant.

The man approached staff on Sunday holding a paper cup and claimed it held a detonator for an explosive device.

He was given a bundle of cash and fled the Laverton North store on foot.

Police checked the restaurant but didn't find any explosives.

He was wearing a pink shawl, black high heels, black fish-nets and a blonde wig, and is described as Caucasian with a chiselled jaw and heavy stubble.
