Pedestrian killed near intersection in Melbourne's inner south-east
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Melbourne's inner south-east.
The person, who is yet to be formally identified, died at near the intersection of Lumeah and Balaclava roads in Caulfield North after being hit about 12pm.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries, Victoria Police said.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
