Two men have been charged after police found more than $10,000 in cash and a large amount of cannabis during a routine intercept in Melbourne's outer suburbs.

Police pulled over a vehicle in Narre Warren at 10pm on Wednesday and discovered the cash and drugs before executing a warrant at a Cranbourne home and finding stolen property.

A 43-year-old Cranbourne man and a 30-year-old man from Narre Warren have both been charged with drug trafficking, drug possession and dealing with the proceeds of crime and will face court in September.
