Carriage horse collapses on Melb street

A horse pulling a carriage has collapsed in Melbourne's CBD.
The carriage owner says the horse slipped and fell after being bitten by another horse it was harnessed to on Swanston Street on Sunday.
Video footage on YouTube shows the horse laying on its side for several minutes with carriage employees and police assisting.

"It didn't collapse from exhaustion like people have been led to believe," Dean Crichton from Unique Carriage Hire told 3AW.
"He stood up moments later, not a scratch on him."
