Car submerged in Melbourne river

A car has been found mysteriously submerged in Melbourne's Maribyrnong River.
Police were alerted about 6.30am on Monday to a black car spotted about three to four metres from the riverbank near Afton St in Aberfieldie.
A police spokeswoman said no one appeared to be in the car, which will be recovered from the river later on Monday morning.
