A gang broke into a Melbourne home and assaulted a man before stealing his car.
The victim was asleep on a couch in a Keysborough home on Sunday when the group of six to eight men broke in about 6am.
Two of the assailants, one armed with a golf club, confronted and assaulted the man before stealing his car keys and making off with an Audi that was parked in the garage.
