Police find car linked to missing Melbourne 17-year-old Cayleb Hough

Police will forensically test a car linked to the disappearance of a Victorian teenager after it was found in a Southbank car park.

Missing Persons Squad detectives found the car on Saturday as part of their investigation into the disappearance of 17-year-old Cayleb Hough.

It's believed the teen was last seen travelling in the blue 2003 Ford Falcon XR6 in the early hours of Sunday, December 20.

Since then, the Chelsea Heights teen has not used his mobile phone, social media or accessed his bank account.

Speaking to the media last week, his father, Steven Hough, says it was unlike Cayleb not to contact family.

"It's very unusual that we would not have any contact at all for this period of time," he said.

"For him to miss a significant event like family Christmas, straight away a concern was raised."
