Car fire on Melb freeway could affect peak

Fire crews are responding to a car fire on the Eastern Freeway.
The Metropolitan Fire Brigade was called to the fire, in the outbound lane near the Chandler Highway exit, just before 8am on Thursday.
VicRoads has closed one lane and have warned motorists to exercise caution because of smoke over the road.
