Canberra woman faces Vic court over murder
A woman extradited from Canberra has faced court in Melbourne charged with killing a man more than three years ago.
Biannca Edmunds, 33, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday accused of murdering Michael Caposiena at Westmeadows in March 2016.
She is charged with killing the 38-year-old who allegedly died during a fight with another man, police said previously.
The other man was a 49-year-old from Shepparton who also died at the scene..
Edmunds' lawyer told the court she needed medication for migraines and there was an undiagnosed illness.
She wore a pink jumper, black pants and was barefoot when she appeared in court.
She hunched over the dock and covered her face with her hair during the brief mention.
Edmunds did not apply for bail and is due back in court on September 11.
