Boy critical after fatal flaming Vic crash

A person is dead and a teenager is fighting for life after a car crashed into a tree, split in two and burst into flames in country Victoria.
The 17-year-old boy has critical burns to his face and airways as well as head, chest and leg injuries and will be airlifted from the crash scene in Port Albert on Wednesday morning, Ambulance Victoria told AAP.
Police are yet to release the gender and age of the person killed but say they arrived at the crash scene about 5:40am.
