A 14-year-old girl caught driving through Melbourne's west after midnight told police she was bored on school holidays.
Police, who are expected to charge the girl with unlicensed driving, said they were shocked to learn her age during a routine traffic stop in Sunshine West, early on Thursday.
The girl, who was returned to her "less than impressed" family, told police she was on her way to visit friends in Carlton.
