Bomb squad called after Melbourne car stop

The bomb squad will detonate a suspicious homemade device found during a routine traffic stop in Melbourne.

Police say the homemade device and drugs were found in the car in Noble Park about 4.30pm on Tuesday.

The area has been cordoned off and the female driver, aged in her 20s, is assisting police with their enquiries.
