Body washes up near Twelve Apostles

A woman's body has washed up on a beach near the Twelve Apostles along Victoria's Great Ocean Road.

Police are trying to recover the body, which was found about 4pm on the beach near Princetown.

"At this stage it is not known whether the death is suspicious," police say in a statement.
