Body on Vic beach likely missing woman

A woman's body found washed up near Victoria's Twelve Apostles is believed to be missing person Eleanor Omasi.

Police are yet to formally identify the body but they say it matches a description of Ms Omasi, last seen at her Ascot Vale home on Friday, and that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A helicopter pilot spotted the body on a beach alongside the Great Ocean road on Tuesday afternoon.
