A woman's body has been found at a property in Dallas, in Melbourne's north. (9NEWS) 9NEWS
A man is in custody following the discovery of a woman's body in a home in Melbourne's north.
Aged in his 40s, he was arrested shortly after police found the body at the Dallas property on Morwell Crescent at about 2.20pm today.

He is assisting police with their investigation.
The Homicide Squad is at the scene and will investigate the woman's death.
