BMW stolen in Melbourne carjacking

A motorist has been forced out of his BMW at gunpoint by a gang of men wearing balaclavas who took off in his car.

The man was sitting in the BMW in Armadale just after midnight when he was boxed in by two Audis carrying what police believe were five men wearing balaclavas.

Three of the men got out, including one who tapped on the drivers window with a gun, police say.

The victim was forced out of the car which was then driven away by the thieves.

He was not injured.
