Blanket near heater sparks Melbourne blaze

A blanket left too close to a heater has sparked a house fire in Melbourne.

Two front rooms of the Campbellfield home were damaged in the blaze, which started in a bedroom about 1.30am on Tuesday.

The occupant managed to get out of the home safely.
