Attacks on Vic Islamic Centre probed

Damaged by fire and graffitied with "Islamic State", three attacks on The Imam Ali Islamic Centre in the north of Melbourne are now being investigated by the arson and explosives squad.

The community centre for Shiite Muslims was first targeted by suspected arsonists in May before being firebombed in November and December last year and police are seeking more information.

"Investigators would appreciate the assistance of anyone who has seen or heard about one or all of these incidents," Senior Sergeant Papworth said in a statement.
