Anxious wait over as Victorian students receive their ATAR results

Thousands of Victorian students are waking up this morning to discover their ATAR results, weeks after completing this year's high school exams.

The results, which were available online from 7am, reveal that 39 students achieved the highest possible rank of 99.95.

More than 45,000 students received the average rank of 69.31, which was a slight drop from 70.33 in 2022.

When and where are results released?

For Victorian students, they are already available.

Students can visit the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) website, where they will need to log in.

Tasmanian students will learn their results on Wednesday, followed by New South Wales and the ACT on Thursday and Queensland on Friday.

What happens next?

First-round university offers begin in December and January, with further rounds to continue until March.

Students will have the opportunity to update their course preferences after receiving their results until December 13.
