The estranged father of GWS footballer Toby Greene has appeared briefly at a Melbourne court accused of headbutting a policewoman.
Michael Greene, 60, has been charged with intentionally causing injury, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and breach bail.
The matter at Ringwood Magistrates Court was adjourned for a contest mention in November.

Greene was arrested on September 28 after watching Greater Western Sydney go down to Richmond in a disappointing AFL premiership loss.
The policewoman he allegedly headbutted needed recovery time, the force has previously said.
