A arsonist did a hot shoe shuffle in Melbourne after setting himself alight while running from the scene of the crime.
Three people asleep in the flat above a Richmond cafe were lucky to escape when it was set alight on February 10, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, police said on Thursday.
CCTV shows a man running through the cafe with his shoes on fire and a trail of flames behind him.
