Armed men rob two Vic convenience stores

Three men armed with a gun and axe have robbed two Victorian convenience stores.

The men entered the Rosebud convenience store, on the Mornington Peninsula, in the early hours of Wednesday and threatened staff and customers before fleeing with cash and cigarettes, a police spokeswoman told AAP.

Police believe the same men then held up a second store in Dromana 20 minutes later and stole more cash and cigarettes.
