Second teen charged over St Kilda bashing

A second teenager has been charged over the violent mugging of three men at St Kilda, Victoria which left two of the victims unconscious.

The 17-year-old North Melbourne boy was expected to face a children's court on Thursday evening charged with violent disorder, affray, five counts of assault, robbery and commit indictable offence while on bail.

Three men were approached by a group of males about 11.15pm on December 1 and when they tried to leave they were punched and kicked.

A 24-year-old Burwood East man, who had his mobile phone and wallet stolen, suffered a broken nose and facial bruising, while a 26-year-old Wheelers Hill man got lacerations to his face.

Both men were taken to hospital.

The third victim, a 20-year-old Vermont South man, sustained minor injuries but declined treatment.

Police are still searching for several more males involved in the attack.
