Teens charged over alleged machete brawl near Melbourne shopping centre

Two teens will face court after an alleged machete brawl near a Melbourne shopping centre yesterday evening.
Police were called after an altercation allegedly broke out between two groups wielding machetes on Hazel Glen Drive, Doreen, at about 6pm.
Two youths were arrested but the remainder fled the scene.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with affray and weapon possession.
He was bailed and will appear in children's court on a later date.
An 18-year-old man from Doreen was charged with affray and weapon possession.

The altercation allegedly broke out on a street near a Doreen shopping centre. Nine
He was bailed and will appear in court on January 16.
It's believed the parties allegedly involved are known to each other.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
