Aggressive Melbourne pedestrian tries to kick passing cyclist
A Melbourne cyclist was almost kicked off his bike by a gym-clad pedestrian during a brazen attempted attack earlier this month.
Video of the February 15 incident shows the rider heading towards the city on Kings Way in the early hours of the afternoon when a man dressed in full gym gear runs onto the road.
Without provocation the pedestrian swings his foot towards the rider and attempts to kick him.
The cyclist whose bike is equipped with both front and rear cameras immediately stops and turns around to confront his would-be attacker.
"You're a f-- wit" the cyclist shouts before informing the man he's on camera and will be reported to the police.
"What for? What are you going to tell them?" the pedestrian responds.
The expletive exchange, posted by Sean H to YouTube, ends with the cyclist riding away.
Nine.com.au contacted Victorian police for comment however it is unclear if Sean reported the incident.
