Adele smashes crowd records at Melbourne gig

Singing sensation Adele has wowed a record number of people at her concert at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium last night.
A total of 75,000 people packed into the stadium to watch the English songstress , smashing attendance records for the venue.
The 28-year-old singer performed her greatest hits, including Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You.

She also greeted the residents of a nearby apartment building during the concert.
“Hello up there in the building outside…up there outside, hello,” Adele said.
Many attendees shared memorable moments of the show on social media.
A similar-sized crowd is expected to watch the singer’s second sold-out show tonight.
Etihad Stadium opened in March 2000.
