Abandoned Vic church burns down
AAP
A historic abandoned church has been razed by a suspicious fire in Melbourne.
Firefighters battled the blaze at St Johns Anglican church on Thursday night but the derelict timber structure, built in 1891, was completely destroyed.
There's now been three church fires in the past week, with a church hall destroyed in Sydenham on Tuesday after the Geelong West Presbyterian Church was burnt to the ground in a suspected arson attack last Friday.
