A dozen people have been injured in boating and water skiing mishaps in Victoria this week, including a boy accidentally run over by a boat.

Ambulance Victoria group manager Steve Fumberger says most of those hurt were on the Murray River and six were involved water skiing accidents.

A woman in her 20s suffered spinal injuries when she fell from an inflatable tube at Mystic Park on Tuesday night.

A primary school-aged boy suffered a serious cut to his leg when he was accidentally run over by a boat at Lake Boga on Tuesday.

Mr Fumberger said a teenage girl suffered spinal injuries and another pelvic injuries while skiing at Cobram on Monday, while a man and primary school-aged girls were burnt on their arms when the engine of their boat caught fire at Mystic Park the same day.
