Vic raid seizes machinery to make firearms

Four people have been charged after pen pistols and machinery used to make firearms were found during a raid on a Melbourne home.

Police executed a warrant on the Seaford home on Thursday morning, uncovering a clandestine laboratory in one bedroom along with a number of firearms, including five pen pistols.

Machinery used to make firearms and up to 20 pen pistols in various stages of manufacture were also allegedly found.

A large number of parts from a stolen $50,000 Landrover Discovery were also allegedly discovered at the address.

Two men, aged 36 and 26, both of Seaford, were charged with firearm, drug and theft offences and remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

Two Seaford women, both aged 28, were also charged over the incident.
