Vic policewoman charged with assault

A Victorian policewoman has been charged with assault over an off-duty incident.
The North West Metro Region constable was suspended with pay after being charged following an investigation into an alleged assault in Geelong on January 12.
The policewoman was off-duty at the time, police said.

The woman has been charged with assault and unlicensed driving.
She will face the Geelong Magistrates Court on May 20.
