Vic police seek 'rotten teeth' abductor
A man with rotten teeth, droopy eyes and a moustache tried to abduct a teenage girl in Melbourne, police say.
The 16-year-old was walking home from school in Coburg on March 11 when the man grabbed her shoulders.
He initially followed her, asked where she was going, and told her he was going to go with her.
The girl ignored him until he tried to grab and threaten her, at which point she ran.
She's told police he was of Middle Eastern appearance, 165-170cm tall, aged between 30 and 35 and had tanned skin.
The girl also said the man was unshaven, had a moustache, droopy eyes and rotten teeth, and was wearing a black singlet and black shorts.
Police believe a woman in a dark-coloured car stopped to check on the girl's welfare, and there were a number of pedestrians and other motorists in the area at the time.
The incident happened on Murray Road, near the intersection of Connolly Avenue, around 3.30pm (AEDT).
