A motorcyclist appears to have been deliberately knocked off his bike and then stabbed in Melbourne.
Police believe the 33-year-old Tarneit man was knocked off his bike by a car before the occupants of the car got out, stabbed the motorcyclist and fled from the scene in Melton South this morning.
Authorities said the victim made his way to a nearby hospital before paramedics transferred him in a stable condition to Footscray Hospital.
