Vic man arrested over drive-by shootings

A man has been arrested over a series of drive-by shootings targeting a Melbourne family.

The family has been the target of five shootings at homes in Thomastown and Mill Park as well as a Campbellfield business over the past seven months.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Epping man early on Wednesday morning.

The last shooting occurred in February, when a number of shots were fired at the Thomastown house.
