Fishtailing car rolls in NT community
Two vehicles have been seized by Northern Territory police for hooning on New Year's Day in Groote Eylandt.
Vision of three four wheel drives swerving dangerously up and down a street, close to residents, homes and animals, was posted to social media earlier this week.

At the end of the video, one vehicle rolls.
Acting Superintendent Tanya Woodcock said the video was concerning.
"This reckless traffic offending poses a high risk to everyone in the vehicles or in the vicinity," she said.

"Ngukurr community suffered the unnecessary death of a young man who was a passenger in a vehicle being driven erratically on New Year's Day, and we'll do everything we can to prevent this from happening in any of our townships again."
While police investigations are continuing, one driver has been identified for prosecution.
