US man charged over assault on teens

An American man has been charged with attacking three children on the NSW Central Coast.

The 40-year-old US national allegedly kicked a 13-year-old boy in the back at an Ettalong wharf on Wednesday, causing him to fall in the water.

He then attacked two 14-year-old girls, police say.

The man was arrested at a nearby toilet block and charged with assault, affray and offensive behaviour.

He has been refused bail and is due to appear at Gosford Local Court on Thursday.
