Unis rate highly with overseas students

International students have given Australia the thumbs-up as a study destination.

A government survey, which attracted 55,609 responses, ranked Australia as the fifth most popular country for international students behind the US, UK, Germany and France.

Australia scored highly for reputation of qualifications, institution quality, education system, personal safety and quality of research and teaching at universities.
