Classic $120,000 convertible stolen from Victorian home

A unique, classic convertible was stolen from a home in Victoria's Pentland Hills, west of Melbourne on the weekend.

Burglars entered a rural property on Dicksons Road sometime overnight from midnight Saturday to 11.15am Sunday.

They broke into a shed before stealing a dark red 1965 Riley Roadster convertible, bearing the registration plates 75672H.

The car is valued at $120,000.

The thieves also stole an orange RTM 450CC dirt bike, with the registration 86278.

"This car is someone's pride and joy and the product of hours of love," Detective Senior Constable Alexei Anikeev said.

"The Roadster is not something you see every day. It wouldn't exactly blend in with Camrys or Corollas on the road."
