Union launches fund for public servants

The public sector union is for the first time asking the community to help fund strike action.
The crowd-funding campaign comes as more than 500 staffers at the immigration department prepare for another round of work bans.
"This campaign fund will support the working mums and dads who are leading this fight with government to get a fair deal, by helping them to continue taking repeated industrial action," CPSU national secretary Nadine Flood said in a statement on Monday.
