UN, Peru, Thai ambassadors announced

Three career officers with the Department of Foreign Affairs will take up posts as Australia's ambassadors to Thailand, Peru and the United Nations.
The department's south and west Asia division secretary Paul Robilliard will be based in Bangkok from October, replacing outgoing ambassador James Wise.
Nicholas McCaffrey will take over in Lima from September, and will hold non-resident accreditation for Bolivia.

John Quinn will replace Peter Woolcott as Australia's ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva in September.
